Chris Sumner

I've been in the radio business since early 2000, and have had the opportunity to hold a number of positions including afternoon announcer, music director, farm broadcaster, and now News Director at CKMW/Eagle. I've been with Golden West Radio since early 2004, and after a break away from radio for just over a year, returned in June 2009.

When I'm not reading or writing the latest local news, weather, and sports I enjoy golfing, reading, and bike riding.

Chris was married in May 2010, him and his wife are living in Winkler and looking forward to spending many more years here in the city.
