On-air Staff

Meet the on-air staff of The Eagle 93.5 FM.

Chuck VanDaele

Good Morning!  Something you'll hear often from me.  I'm The Eagle morning man, and I'm excited to keep you up to date on what's going on in the Pembina Valley and play you some great songs along the way.  I also help maintain The Eagle's website, so let me know what you want to see on our homepage.  I'm a huge fan of sports, and I embarrass myself anytime I try to play one, which is often.

This is your station, so feel free to tell me songs, topics, and events you would like hear about on The Eagle.  Drop me an e-mail:

Connie Bailey

So, I guess I'm the lady that you'll hear every weekday from noon-6. And I LOVE it! I am a child of the 80's so, of course, they are my favorite! It drives my 4 kids crazy, but my hubby (also a child of the 80's) loves it too! When I'm not on the air I am a producer around these parts.  That's fun too!

I'd love to hear from you!  Is there a song you'd like to hear?  A request you'd like to make?  A birthday wish?  A thank you?  Let me know and I'll get it done for you...

Darrel Kaye

He's 100% honest when he says he has the best co-workers in the world.  Outside of The Eagle, Darrel loves theater, reading, music and sports, especially baseball.  He's also a fan of television and movies and loves the internet.  Darrel says the best part of his day is getting to work and he's serious!   Listen to DK Satuday's 11-3 and for the Sunday Classics noon -3 every Sunday (of course).

Pam Fedack

A Golden West Radio employee for several years, Pam Fedack started as a weekend and evening announcer, operating ball games for CKMW (our sister station) and then moved into the news department.  Pam and her husband Johnathon are avid Blue Bomber and and have trained their children Nathaniel and Georgia to back the Blue and Gold.  Listen for Pam as she covers local news events.

Matt Friesen

Matt Friesen, a graduate of the Western Academy of Broadcasting College in Saskatoon, joined the Golden West Radio news team in February 2003.  He enjoys all aspects of life, especially cheering his heart out for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.  Matt's also a perennially disappointed Toronto Maple Leafs fan.  When Matt isn't spending time at the rink as the voice of the Winkler Flyers, he enjoys family time with his wife Patti and their children Hannah and Jackson.

Vickie Addison

As the newest member of Golden West's new team, reporter Vickie Addison is having a blast learning the ins and outs of the broadcasting world.  She is a Morden native and loves being able to work in an area that she has come to love so much!  In her spare time Vickie enjoys being involved with the local theatre company, golfing horribly (the golfing that is, not doing it horribly), and spending time with her greatest achievement --son Logan.

Jennifer Cassils

Jennifer Cassils has been involved in the media industry since 1999 and enjoys every minute of it.  Cutting her "radio teeth" as a reporter, Jenn was promoted to news director at Golden West's Winkler center this past year.  She moved to the area in 2003 and now resides in Morden.  In her spare time, Jenn enjoys playing and watching sports, working on mosaics and is involved with the theatre companies in Morden and Winkler.
